Kitchen Renovation
Wexford, PA November 2018 Category :Kitchen Renovation Date :2018 Status :Completed Tags :kitchen, construction, renovation Project Description We had the amazing opportunity to renovate the kitchen in this 19th century Wexford farm house! We started by replacing the rotting sub-floor, and the floor joists as well. After completing the sub-floor, we refinished the kitchen cabinets with a bit of chalk paint and a wax finish,Custom Garage Door
Had the chance to build a pair of custom doors and three windows. This is a little outside of what we had typically done, but really enjoyed the entire process. They turned out great, we can’t wait to build something like this again!
Sunroom Renovation
We don’t typically take jobs this far from home, but this one was worth it. The clients current sun room was in disrepair, was poorly framed and needed some serious TLC. We reframed the windows and added custom casing and crown molding. We moved the door frame from the side to the front and installed a new sliding glass door. Also adding drywall, bamboo flooring and a fresh coat of paint to top it all off. In a couple weeks this unused space turned into an all-season sunroom (with baseboard heaters too!).
Basement Remodel
Often, when companies build new neighbor hoods, they leave the basement relatively unfinished. One great way to improve these new homes is to finish the basement and turn it into an entertainment space! We framed in the radon system, and the furnace/water heater into separate closets, so they were no longer eye sores, and framed in a full bath. To top it all off we added drywall, paint and new can lights. It looks like a completely different room! Our clients made the right choice and improved their home value.
